Electives

ØIS encourages and supports student led learning through a range of Elective lessons geared to promote a well-rounded and engaging education. Students in all grade levels choose from a selection of classes both during the school day and in the afterschool time slots, which nurture and develop student interest. Students in the Middle Years Program are required to take a minimum of Elective Classes and are awarded credits based on participation, while students in the Primary Years Program are encouraged to follow interest for the sake of experience and are not required to take a minimum.

There are three divisions for Elective choices, each of which have options created for their age level. Please click on the links below to find information about Electives for each age level.
